Inspired by one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World — the legendary Colossus of Rhodes — this radiant golden statue pays tribute to Helios, the Greek God of the Sun. A timeless symbol of victory, divine power, and enduring light, it brings the grandeur of antiquity into your living space.
Introduction
Historical background
The original Colossus of Rhodes was a ten-story-tall bronze masterpiece (~32 meters), built between 294 and 282 BCE by sculptor Chares of Lindos.
It was erected to celebrate the extraordinary victory of the people of Rhodes against the feared military commander Demetrius Poliorcetes, “the Besieger of Cities.”
For over half a century, it stood as a beacon of strength and faith — until a devastating earthquake in 226 BCE brought it to the ground.

The Oracle of Delphi advised against its reconstruction, and the fallen giant lay in place for nearly 900 years, until Arab forces dismantled the remains and sold the bronze as scrap — a haul so vast it required more than 900 camels to carry away.
Though the statue vanished from the earth, it never disappeared from the human heart.
The sun never sets. And neither does the spirit of Helios.
Statue Description
Depicted in a bold, dynamic stance, Helios raises a torch high above his head — a symbol of divine light and eternal guidance. He straddles two harbor pedestals with a sailing ship carved between his feet, an homage to the maritime power and trading glory of ancient Rhodes.
Upon his head rests a radiant sun crown, embodying his role as the god who drives the sun chariot across the sky each day. Every detail of this figure speaks to victory, faith, and the unconquerable force of light.
Our Design Philosophy
We believe great art should endure — just like the sun itself. This statue is crafted from a premium alloy of 80% bronze, 20% zinc, and tin, delivering a texture of bronze while maintaining exceptional hardness and structural integrity. A golden spray finish is applied over the surface, giving the figure a luminous radiance that represents the brilliance of the sun and ensures long-lasting beauty.

To make Helios accessible for modern spaces, we have scaled the figure to life-size proportions, so this legendary god can stand in your home, office, company, or garden with commanding presence.
Lost-Wax Casting Technology
The original Colossus was revolutionary — built with an iron skeleton framework, clad in hammered bronze plates melted down from captured enemy weapons. We honor that legacy with modern lost-wax casting technology. Before any metal is poured, a detailed muddy model is hand-carved to capture every muscle, expression, and symbolic element with precision.
A wax replica is then formed, encased in a ceramic shell, and melted away — leaving a perfect hollow cavity into which the molten bronze alloy is poured.

Once cooled, each piece is hand-finished with surface detailing, careful polishing, and the signature golden patina. The result is a statue that carries both the soul of antiquity and the precision of modern craftsmanship.
The Colossus of Rhodes may be lost to history, but its spirit lives on in every golden ray of sunlight — and now, in this statue. Whether you place it as the centerpiece of your home, a statement piece in your workspace, or a gift for someone who appreciates the beauty of the ancient world, this is more than a decoration. It is a declaration.
If this has moved your heart, bring this statue home today — and may the light of the sun god forever shine in yours.
